Fabric Painting

Edit Posted by with No comments
After all the wall paintings and decal creations its time to move onto fabric painting. From a long time i wanted a simple sofa cover which was hard to find. Plain with simple design, so i decided to paint it myself.

My hubby loved a native american design online and he wanted a Tshirt with native american theme. Painting on black background is kinda difficult but i managed to paint and added some rhinestones and glitter colours to spruce up the Tshirt.

Wall Decals Handpainted

Edit Posted by with No comments
The rains have stopped, the days look dull and boring. I want to add some colour to the day.
Whats better then to paint the walls with acrylics..........sounds crazy :O
Ya...could be but its fun too.

So i set out to paint my study room.
I small corner and doesnt require much work
Lotus my favourite flower, a ethnic look and simple design
So here is my first wall decal

After the study room decal turned out well
I ventured into the bedroom
There is a huge empty wall.........I wanted to fill in the emptiness with some colours,
vibrance and brilliant energy

Cherry blossoms would just brighten up the dull space
And yes the expression of freedom
Bird flying out of a cage what could be better then that

So here comes lalala.............the cherry blossom decal
with a open cage and parrot flying out.

Hows it...leave behind your comments

Wedding Card - Hand made warli design

Edit Posted by with 6 comments
An attempt to paint handmade wedding card. I have used a old wedding card and on it i have painted a warli wedding scene.

Warli is a folk art of Maharashtra its neolithic painting art used by tribal maharashtrians in the village of warli. The scene involves a bride sitting in a doli and the groom riding the horse.

I have decorated the border of this card with Rhinestones which adds glitter to it and border is given golden 3D outlining.

Decoupage

Edit Posted by with No comments
Decoupage is a technique where by we can emboss a image on a object it could be your mobile cover, a plate, a board.

Here i have embossed my phone with a decoupage tissue and another decoupage is done on images which are mounted on canvas board.

The board is then decorated with shells and 3D outliner

MDF Elephant

This is a beautiful cutout which is decorated with acrylics, 3D outliners. The intricate design didnt take up much of my time.

But i would like to make the design even more intricate and later may add up some more glitter, rhinestones etc to this piece

Presently this is how it looks

These poppies are created using crepe paper. Poppies are quiet easy to make and they look very beautiful.
